Tammy Tuckus is having a delayed adolescence at the age of 40 when she moves to Follywood to be her daughter Leaza's "momager".

When Leaza's "acting career" fails to materialize, Tammy starts looking at the music scene. She falls in with some other menopausal women to form a band "The Hot Flashes" a new genre of music... "heavy menstrual"!

Jealousy abounds when "Burpee" wants to sponsor them... with only Tammy in the ads.
